 The Bay

San Francisco is one of the great cities in the United States. It is served by two bridges; the Bay Bridge which connects to Oakland, and the Golden Gate Bridge, which connects to Marin County. San Francisco is well recognized for the Transamerica Pyramid building, Alcatraz Island, Coit Tower, Fisherman's Wharf, and Chinatown. It is home to the World Series Champion San Francisco Giants(2014) and the San Francisco Forty Niners. The bay is a favorite spot for boaters and fishermen, as well as many US Navy ships.

San Francisco has its own cultural heritage and is famous for the SF Opera which performs at War Memorial Opera House.
At Christmas a favorite for the whole family is its rendition of the Nutcracker. It also has regular visits by international stars.
